Having graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA in History, Wenty served a brief Internship with Dickinson, before embarking on a career with Christie's. There he worked in the British and Irish Art department, the Old Master Pictures department in both London and New York, as well as overseeing many of the highly successful collection sales. Wenty joined Dickinson as an Associate Director in 2008. Working closely with Simon Dickinson on Old Masters and British Pictures, Wenty also heads up the Sporting Art side of the Gallery, curating the hugely popular exhibition: 300 years of British Sporting Art.
